Vision

To seek and introduce technologies that will result in healthy, green, profusely bearing date palms where RPW is no more a threat.

 

Objectives:

  • Conduct research to find innovative and rational solutions for the management of RPW.
     
  • Collaborate with Extension departments to transfer new techniques.
     
  • Encourage Public and Private Partnership to achieve the set goals.
     
  • Develop and update data base of RPW to serve as a referral agency.
     
  • Capacity building at various levels to eliminate the dearth of trainers/resource personnel in various levels.
     
  • Dissemination of knowledge through various media.
